Gus Hansen has been seen on High Stakes Poker on GSN where he bought into the game for $400, 000. You might remember one of the biggest pots in high stakes poker history against Daniel Negreanu. He raked in a huge pot with 4 of a kind against Daniel’s full house. Gus has earned many televised poker appearances and is thought to be one of the greatest gamblers in the world. While gambling on internet poker, a different side of Hansen has emerged. He often competes in the 200/400 No Limit maximum buy in of $40, 000. Hansen generally buys in for the minimum of $16, 000 and gambles very weak. He waits for a good hand and then goes all-in. I believe Gus is an outstanding poker player but certainly not even close to the everyday players at 200/400NL.
