Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers receive five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including an amount equal to the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays out money even with your bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
